On October 1st, the Lebanon Police Department hosted a National Night Out. This event was free to the public, and multiple agencies were there. Police cars and equipment were out for the public, and free Kona Ice and Pelican's Snoballs were free for families. I talked to Officer Clark and we talked about why they do these events. The kids in the community are who benefit the most from this. It shows that the police are aren't scary despite what is happening in the media.
